Return & Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which INFODM PRIVATE LIMITED ("INFODM," "we," "us," or "our") provides refunds for services purchased through our website at infodm.lk. Because INFODM provides digital services rather than physical products, traditional return policies do not apply. Instead, this policy defines the specific circumstances under which refunds may be issued.

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any of our services. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Return and Refund Policy.

Important: Key Refund Principles

  • Social media content management subscriptions are non-refundable once the service month has begun.
  • Website development refunds are available only if INFODM fails to deliver by the promised delivery date, and only if the delay was not caused by the client.
  • No refund is available if the client fails to submit required project data or materials on time, causing a delivery delay.

1. General Policy

INFODM provides digital services, not physical goods. As such, services cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense. Refund eligibility is determined on a per-service basis according to the terms below. All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our team.

To request a refund, you must contact us at hello@infodm.lk with your order details and the reason for your request. We will review and respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.

2. Website Development (WordPress - Fixed Price)

INFODM offers WordPress website development at a fixed price. Refund eligibility for website development projects is subject to the following conditions:

2.1 When a Refund IS Available

A refund is available only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • INFODM fails to deliver the completed website by the promised delivery date.
  • The delivery delay was caused entirely by INFODM, not by the client.
  • The client submitted all required project materials, data, content, and information on time as requested.
  • The client responded to all communication and approval requests within the agreed timeframes.

2.2 When a Refund IS NOT Available

No refund will be issued in the following scenarios:

  • The client failed to submit required project data, content, images, or other materials on time, directly causing a delay in the delivery timeline.
  • The client was unresponsive to communications, feedback requests, or approval requests, causing the project to stall.
  • The client changed the project scope, requirements, or design direction after work had begun, extending the timeline beyond the original delivery date.
  • The website has been delivered and accepted by the client (explicitly or by use).
  • The client simply changed their mind about wanting the website after work has commenced.

2.3 Partial Refunds for Unstarted Milestones

If a website development project is cancelled mid-way, a partial refund may be available for milestones or phases of work that have not yet begun. Work already completed or in progress is non-refundable. The determination of milestone completion status is at the sole discretion of INFODM and will be communicated transparently to the client.

3. Social Media Content Management (Facebook)

Social media content management subscriptions are non-refundable once the service month has begun.

Social media content management is a service, not a product. Once the service month has started, our team begins planning, creating, and scheduling content for your Facebook page(s). This work cannot be undone or returned. Therefore:

  • No refund will be issued for any month in which the service has already begun, regardless of whether content has been published yet.
  • If you wish to cancel your subscription, you must do so at least 5 business days before the start of the next billing cycle. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Payments for upcoming months that have not yet begun (i.e., pre-paid months) are eligible for a refund if you cancel before the start of those service months.
  • Service dissatisfaction does not constitute grounds for a refund, but we encourage you to contact us at hello@infodm.lk so we can address your concerns.

4. AI Services

AI services, including AI chatbot development and AI agent configuration, are custom-built solutions. Refund terms follow the same principles as website development:

  • A refund is available only if INFODM fails to deliver the agreed solution by the promised date and the delay was not caused by the client.
  • Client-caused delays (failure to provide data, specifications, or timely feedback) void refund eligibility.
  • Partial refunds may be available for unstarted phases of work.
  • Delivered AI solutions are non-refundable.

5. Digital Marketing (Meta Ads / Google Ads)

Digital marketing campaign management services are non-refundable once the campaign setup has begun. Please note:

  • INFODM's service fee covers campaign strategy, setup, management, and optimization. This fee is non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Ad spend paid directly to Meta or Google is not charged by or refunded by INFODM. Refunds for ad spend must be requested directly from the respective platform.
  • Campaign performance is not guaranteed, and unsatisfactory results do not constitute grounds for a refund, as advertising outcomes are influenced by external factors beyond INFODM's control.

6. Refund Process

6.1 How to Request a Refund

To submit a refund request, contact us with the following information:

  • Your full name and the email address associated with your account
  • The order or invoice number
  • The service for which you are requesting a refund
  • A detailed explanation of the reason for your refund request
  • Any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots, correspondence) relevant to your claim

Send your refund request to hello@infodm.lk with the subject line "Refund Request - [Your Order Number]".

6.2 Review and Decision

All refund requests are reviewed by our team within 5 business days of receipt. We will examine the circumstances of your request, including project timelines, deliverables, and any client-side delays. We will notify you of our decision via email.

6.3 Refund Method and Timeline

Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method used at the time of purchase (through PayHere). Please allow up to 14 business days from the date of approval for the refund to be reflected in your account. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or financial institution.

7. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

INFODM may, at its sole discretion, grant exceptions to this policy in extraordinary circumstances. Such exceptions do not establish precedent and are handled on a case-by-case basis. Examples of special circumstances may include:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges
  • Service outages caused entirely by INFODM that rendered the service unusable for a significant portion of the service period
  • Mutual agreement between INFODM and the client to cancel a project before any work has begun

INFODM reserves the right to update or modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction. We encourage you to review this policy before each purchase.
